The objective of this course is to provide knowledge in strategic management in pharmaceutical industry departments specialized in the new drug market access and in the pharmacoeconomical valorization of these drugs.

Postgraduate health sciences profiles (biotechnologists, biologists, biomedical researchers, biomedical engineers, biochemists and others), PhD students and/or professionals working with transference offices or companies with less than 3 years of experience.

  • Module 1

    Environment and Structure of the Pharmaceutical Industry in New Projects Management

    Strategic Management of Projects: The content of this subject is oriented to work the concept and project management, planning, process, cost plan, financial plan and risk management of the sector companies.

    From the biotechnology sector to the Pharmaceutical Industry: During this subject, the student will learn leading aspects from the pharmaceutical market, market research, industrial property, contracts, strategic and operational marketing, communication strategies, operations and logistics.

  • Module 2

    Introduction of New Drugs to the National Healthcare System

    Pharmaceutical Industry and Drug Regulatory Agencies: During this subject we will go deeper into Pharmacoeconomics concepts, Spanish drug agency, feasibility drug economic methods, cost-benefit, regulation of drug prices and financial politics.

    Market Access and Introduction of New Products, Primary Attention and Specialists: The subject is focused on learning in depth the National Healthcare System, the community competences, their legislation and regulatory politics, the product life circle, sales network and market.
